Techfocus News & Commentary - News Last week's Sapphire worm, widely known as SQL Slammer, infected more than 90 percent of vulnerable computers within 10 minutes, opening a new era of fast-spreading viruses on the Internet, according to a think tank. Though I have been in computers for over 20 years, the only viruses that I have ever gotten have been self inflicted. This means that I got samples and gave them to myself. I have not ever been infected by a virus/worm/rouge program that I did not do to myself. How come I am so lucky. Well I practice safe-hex. ALWAYS keep an up to date anti-virus program running on your computer.
